Sito Web per Professionisti: Guida Completa 2026 - Ikwaba

A lawyer’s or professional firm’s website has to make clear within seconds what the firm does, who works there and how to book an appointment, while respecting the profession’s ethics rules. For Italian lawyers, Article 35 of the Code of Conduct allows any means of information, websites included, as long as the information is true, correct, transparent and not misleading. Naming clients remains forbidden, even with their consent. A brochure site for a firm usually costs €800 to €2,500.

I’m Toure Tia Kevin, a web developer in Bassano del Grappa, Italy. I build websites for firms and professionals, ready to be found on Google. The rules mentioned here are Italian ones: check those of your own professional body.

The essential pages

  1. Home: who you are, who you work for, in which area, how to reach you.
  2. Areas of practice: one page per subject or service, written for the client and not for colleagues. Someone searching “divorce lawyer” should find a page on exactly that.
  3. The professionals: real photos, background, bar or register membership, languages spoken.
  4. How the first meeting works: what to bring, how long it lasts, whether it’s paid, whether it can be online.
  5. Contacts: phone, email, address with map, opening hours, a simple form.
  6. Notices: privacy, cookies, the firm’s details (VAT number, certified email, professional body).

What to avoid

  • Client names and any reference that would make them identifiable, even with their consent: for Italian lawyers it’s forbidden by paragraph 8 of Article 35.
  • Promises of results and success rates: they’re misleading and against professional ethics.
  • A sales-offer tone that could be read as soliciting clients.
  • Copied text from other sites, or AI-generated text without review: besides the risk of mistakes, Google rates it poorly.

Every profession has its own code: accountants, labour consultants, architects and engineers have their own rules. Before publishing, check the content against your professional body’s guidance.

Being found locally

For a firm, most clients arrive from local searches: “accountant Vicenza”, “employment lawyer Treviso”. The Google Business listing matters a lot, with the right categories, hours, photos and replies to reviews. On the site you need pages for the main subjects and, where it makes sense, content that answers clients’ common questions. If you want to work on this continuously, there’s the SEO and GEO service.

Bookings and client area

Many firms still take enquiries by phone only. An online calendar for the first appointment saves time for both sides. For larger firms you can add a client area for documents and cases: that’s a custom web app.

What it costs

A website for a firm usually costs €800 to €2,500, depending on the number of pages, the copy and the features. The details are in how much a website costs.

Frequently asked questions

Can I publish client reviews?

Google reviews are public and you can reply to them. Publishing testimonials with clients’ names on the site is, however, forbidden for Italian lawyers; for other professions, check your code of conduct.

Can I show the price of consultations?

Generally yes, if it’s clear and truthful. Stating at least the cost of the first meeting helps clients decide.
